FRIDAY RESULTS

COLUMBIA, S.C. --- Day one of the Weems Baskin Invitational included a number of solid performances for the Tennessee State women’s track and field team on Friday at Sheila and Morris Cregger Track in Columbia, S.C.

  • In the second outdoor meet of her collegiate career, freshman Rebekah Wynn knocked six seconds off her 3000m steeplechase time to clock in at 12:32.50 to earn fourth place on Friday.
  • Junior Mikayla Banks set a new personal record in the 400m in 56.56 to take home fourth on the day.
  • In the long jump invitational, Grenetria Shell reached 5.65m (18’6.5”) to secure fifth overall.
  • The remaining action at the Weems Baskin Invitational is scheduled for tomorrow.
