ATLANTA --- Opening action at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday, the Tennessee State women’s track and field team continued to improve this outdoor season with a number of standout efforts.

Crystal Williams (Gainesville, Fla.) had TSU’s best time in the 100m hurdles, clocking in at 13.89. Maya Ramsey (Atlanta, Ga.) also put together her best 100m hurdles time of the season in 14.53.

Raven Davis (Junction City, Kan.) had a 12.24 finish in the 100m, followed by Tiffany Barnes (Atlanta, Ga.) in 12.25.

In the shot put, Daimer Gordon (Ellenwood, Ga.) finished with a distance of 12.42m (40’9”), while Gabrielle Younginer (McDonough, Ga.) reached 5.65m (18’6.5”) in the long jump on her second jump.

Action at the Georgia Tech Invitational wraps up tomorrow.
