Seven Things to Know about Pragati Natraj

Two Years in the Books
Pragati is heading into her third season on the TSU women’s tennis team. The rising junior has competed in 22 doubles and 27 singles matches in her career.

She Hails from India
Her hometown is Bangalore, India. She attended the National Institute for Open Schooling.

The TSU Connection
Pragati heard about TSU through an individual that was helping her find colleges in the US. She chose TSU because she felt it would be the right fit. She was excited to play tennis under head coach Monroe Walker and liked the idea of living in Nashville.

She Loves Food
Her favorite foods are Indian and Chinese. Here in Nashville, she loves to enjoy Maggie Moo’s ice cream and Cookout milk shakes.

She Likes Traveling
Most recently she has visited Washington, D.C., Boston, New York and Utah. She is going to San Francisco next month.

She Loves Spending Time with Family
She does not get a chance to visit India often but she has many relatives in the US.

She is an Exceptional Student in the Classroom
She was a recipient of the Top Academic Award this spring, which is awarded to the individual with the highest GPA among all student-athletes. The Psychology major has boasted a 4.0 GPA four consecutive semesters at TSU.
