OPENING TIP: The Tennessee State women’s tennis team is set for a pair of matches on Saturday in Memphis. The Tigers will battle Rhodes at 10 a.m. and LeMoyne-Owen at 1 p.m. The matches are the final test for TSU before the start of Ohio Valley Conference action begins on March 19.

LAST TIME OUT: TSU has been idle since a 5-2 loss at Northern Kentucky on Feb. 20. In the road match, Abhilasha Vishwanath (Bangalore, India) earned a straight-set, 6-2, 6-1 victory in her No. 4 singles match.

ABOUT RHODES: Rhodes has cruised to a 3-0 record in the spring season thanks to lopsided wins against Bethel, Hendrix and Christian Brothers. The Lynx have gone 8-1 in doubles action so far in dual matches this year.
