NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State women’s golf team heads to Muscle Shoals, Ala., to compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship. Junior Morgan Rood and freshman Kalee Rhodes both enter the three-day event with an 86.8 average. Haleigh Riley is coming off her career best 54-hole result after posting a 254 at the Jan Weaver Invitational. Freshman Trinidy Pate is fresh off a season best result for a 54-hole tournament. Pate cut 37 strokes off her previous best. Savannah Szozda will be the first on the course for the Tigers on Monday morning. In her last competition, Szozda carded a 79, which is her best round in a non-home event since her freshman campaign.
