Women's Golf Set Sights on F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State women’s golf team returns to action after three weeks off from tournament play. The Tigers will travel to Clarksville for the F&M Bank Austin Peay Intercollegiate. Play will feature 18-holes of play on each day of the two-day event at the Par-72, 5,960 yard Clarksville Country Club.
The Tigers will join fellow Ohio Valley Conference opponents Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Murray State, SIU Edwardsville, and Tennessee Tech for the classic. Houston Baptist, Lipscomb, Northern Kentucky, Radford and Towson complete the field of participants.
Head coach Parris McGrath will send out sophomores Laura Bremer, Amelia Dap, Kelly Merkel, and Sarah Needleman; along with freshman Natalie Spicer.
Monday’s opening round will begin with an 7:30am shotgun start.
