SHREVEPORT, La. --- The Tennessee State women's golf team finished in ninth place in its first tournament in a field of 11 team in the Centenary Ladies Spring Invitational. TSU's Jessica Nemnich fired a final round 79 to lead TSU with a 165 and finish in a tie for 16th place. As a team, the Lady Tigers had a score of 765 on the par-71, 5,818-yard Shreveport Country Club Course. Leslie Scarborough had a 175 and finished tied for 33rd. Other TSU scores were Morgan Brown 21, LaToya Moppins 214, and Mary Briggance 238. Oral Roberts edged Lamar for the championship by two strokes. ORU had a 36-hole total of 630.
