NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State's inaugural Lady Tiger Intercollegiate golf tournament concluded Tuesday afternoon with the Kentucky JV squad pulling away to win the six-team event. Played on the par-72, Nashboro Golf Club course, the Lady 'Cats pulled away from a two-stroke lead after Monday's first round to win by 22 strokes. Kentucky finished with a 640 and was led by medalist Maggie Galbreath who had a two-day score of 157. Belmont climbed from third place after the first round to finish second with a 662. Radford was third with a 669 followed by Trevecca 718, host TSU 804, and Alabama A&M 1102. The tournament was the first tournament for the second-year TSU team to host. The tournament concludes the Lady Tigers fall season.
