NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State second-year Lady Tiger golf program is hosting its first-ever tournament that got underway Monday at the Nashboro Golf Club. The TSU women are playing host to five other team. The Kentucky JV squad holds a two-stroke lead in the six-team field. The first round was played under sunny skies on the par-72, 5,863-yard course. Kentucky shot a 324, followed by Radford 332, Belmont 33, Trevecca 362, TSU 403, and Alabama A&M 563. Belmont's Kate Austin shot a 78 to be the individual leader. Kentucky's Maggie Gabelman and Stacy Springer each shot a 79. The second and final round will begin Tuesday at 9 a.m.
