Six Tigerbelles Post Personal Bests at Austin Peay Cross Country Festival

NASHVILLE – The Tigerbelles front runner Rebekah Wynn finished 17th at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival, crossing the finish line in 19:38.92 – a personal best. Wynn’s finish helped the Tigerbelles finish third among Division I teams Saturday morning in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Six of the seven Tigerbelles marked the best times of the season, including Wynn, Grenetria Shell (21:53.37), Zion White (22:46.32), Kelsea Buchanan (22:53.53), Elaina Verges (22:59.56) and Hope Haley (24:31.72).

TSU cross country rounds out its regular season Oct. 12 in Owensboro, Kentucky at the Fast Cats Classic.
