Women's Cross Country Places Fifth at UTC Twilight

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Tennessee State women’s cross country team continued the season on Friday with the UTC Twilight 4,000 meter run.

The Tigerbelles ran for an average time of 18:25.28, led again by junior Rebekah Wynn. Wynn placed 54th speeding through the finish line at 16:48.33.

Grenetria Shell (17:45.87), Kelsea Buchanan (18:33.88), Elaina Verges (19:03.50) and Makayla Transou (19:54.79) rounded out TSU’s scoring five. 

Next up for the Tigerbelles is the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 14.
