Nashville, Tenn. - The Tennessee State University Tigerbelles finished out the 9th Annual Boston-Moon Classic with a handful of notable performances on Saturday at the Edward S. Temple Track Complex.

The 4x400m relay team of Gabrielle Todd, Kya Riley, Daniell Exum and Ashley Taylor recorded the only first place finish. They closed out the meet crossing the line with a time of 3:54.80.

With one first-place award, it would be the runner-up performances that spotlighted TSU throughout the day. Martinique Guice, Gabrielle Todd, Teannah Holland and the 4x100m relay team (Todd, Guice, Taylor, and Carolyn Petway) finished second with strong performances.

Guice posted a 3.8 wind aided mark of 20"06.28 (6.25m) in the long jump for her best performance on the season. The leap was less than one inch shy of her personal best and is currently the top mark and only jump over 20-feet in the OVC.

On the track, Todd finished second in the 400m with a clocking of 56.58 seconds. She finishes as the runner-up in the event for a consecutive competition with a time under 57 seconds. She then helped the 4x100m relay team to their best time of the year at 47.36 seconds.

In the throws, Holland finished second in the three-of-four throwing events on the day. She recorded a toss of 38"04.25 (11.69m - shot put), 120" 06 (36.72m - discus), and 118"00 (35.96m - hammer). Her performances in the discus and hammer are currently her best throws this season.

Other notable performances were courtesy of Brielle Moore and Brittney Washington with both runners recording a career time. Moore finished third in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.00 seconds and Washington was fourth in the 800m at 2:17.60.
