TSU To Host Indoor Track Meet

Tennessee State University is making preparations to host  the TSU Invite Indoor Track Meet, Saturday, January 31st at the Gentry Center Athletic Complex.

The meet is set to begin at 8 a.m. on the Wilma Rudolph Indoor Track with the throwing and jumping events. The running events will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will continue on a rolling time schedule.
The Tigerbelles are coming off an open week and are led by Martinique Guice. Guice currently holds the best marks in the Ohio Valley Conference in the 55-meter dash and long jump. She has the fastest OVC 55-meter dash time (7.23 sec.), a clocking she set earlier this year at the Ed Temple Classic (1/11). The following week, she jumped a personal best in the long jump (19'03.25) to place second at the SASF Invitational (1/17). 

The following schools are scheduled to compete: Alabama-Huntsville, Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Austin Peay, Bethel College, Clayton State, Florida A&M, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Morehouse, Samford, and Savannah State.
