Jaden Wrightsell Led the OVC in Steals as a Junior

NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State University women’s basketball student-athlete Jaden Wrightsell led the Ohio Valley Conference in steals during the 2019-20 season.

Wrightsell finished her junior campaign with a team and league best 2.4 steals per game.

She had at least one steal in all but five contests and registered four or more steals eight times.  

The Omaha, Neb., native notched a season-high six steals in a win over Murray State.

She registered a total of 60 steals this year and has 116 in her career.

Wrightsell earned the team's Defensive Player of the Year award.
