NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State University women’s basketball player Taylor Roberts finished the 2019-20 season as the second-best free-throw shooter in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Roberts who played in 21 games while making 16 starts this season, shot a team-best .873 from the charity stripe as a junior.
The Oklahoma City, Okla., native made 89-of-102 attempts and was perfect from the line in 10 games this season.
Roberts has been an exceptional free-throw shooter since her rookie campaign, shooting at least 80 percent for three consecutive seasons.
She has improved every year and has a career shooting percentage of .836.
