My TSU Experience: Franceska Brown

Franceska Brown played in 44 games as a Lady Tiger before sitting out this season due to injury. She scored a career-high 19 points against Fisk during junior year. A mass communications major with a concentration in integrated marketing, she graduated with her bachelor of science in Communications on May 4.

TSUTigers: Talk about your overall TSU experience.
A:  It was a great experience all four years.

TSUTigers: What do you love most about TSU?
A: The family I have gained.

TSUTigers: What will you miss most about TSU?
A: My friends.

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable moment in your sport at TSU?
A: Our trip to Las Vegas and the game winner Bri hit my freshman year.

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable non-sport moment at TSU?
A: Becoming an AKA.

TSUTigers: What are some accomplishments/goals that you reached at TSU?
A: I’ve been on the Dean’s List throughout my time here and becoming an AKA.

TSUTigers: Do you have a favorite TSU fan/supporter? If so, who?
A: Jewel Jackson.

TSUTigers: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?
A: Do not take your scholarship for granted.

TSUTigers: What was your most challenging class at TSU?
A: Communication and Law.

TSUTigers: Who was your favorite professor?
A: Mr. Werner

TSUTigers: What organizations were you a part of outside of your sport?
A: Alpha Kappa Alpha

TSUTigers: Who have been the most influential people to you at TSU?
A: Ms. Kenita, Asia Sims and Mr. Werner

TSUTigers: What’s next for you?
A: I’m going to grad school at Georgia State.

TSUTigers: Once you are an alumna, how will you stay connected with TSU?
A: Coming back to attend basketball games.

TSUTigers: What do you know now that you didn’t know coming in as a freshman?
A: Treat others how you want to be treated.

TSUTigers: What have you learned at TSU that you will keep with you for the rest of your life?
A: Everyone isn’t against you!
