The Tennessee State University women’s basketball team will play its second game in three days when the Lady Tigers face No. 20 DePaul on Monday, Dec.17. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in McGrath Phillips Arena.

THE LADY TIGERS AT A GLANCE
The Tennessee State University women’s basketball team is coming off an, 80-59. loss to Marshall Saturday afternoon on the road. The Lady Tigers have played nine of their 10 games away from their home court.

Sophomore Taylor Roberts leads TSU in scoring with 15.7 points per game while Tia Wooten is averaging 12.8 ppg. Terrysha Banner rounds out the top three scorers with 6.1 ppg and Jaden Wrightsell pulls down a team-best 7.6 rebounds per outing.

As a team, TSU is averaging 58.0 ppg while shooting 32.6 percent from the field, including 23.0 percent from three-point range and 69.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lady Tigers are led by second year head coach Jessica Kern.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
No. 20/18 DePaul (7-3) is coming off an 87-76 win over Oklahoma on Dec. 9. The Blue Demons are averaging 84.4 points per game while shooting 41.4 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from three-point range. DePaul has three players averaging double-digits in scoring led by Ashton Millender’s 14.7 ppg.
