McDonald?s Metro Kid?s Day set for Monday in the Gentry Center

On Monday, Jan. 27, the Tennessee State University women’s basketball team will welcome all students from Davidson County Metro Schools to the Gentry Center for its game against Eastern Kentucky.

Metro School Kid’s Day, sponsored by McDonald’s, will be held on Monday, January 27 at 11 a.m. in the Gentry Center. All students in grades K-12 will receive free admission to the game.

In conjunction to the TSU vs. Eastern Kentucky basketball game, McDonald’s will provide a wellness segment on health entitled “From the Farm to the Table” where the establishment will share information regarding items from its menu, as it relates to the wellness program.

Additionally, a college fair hosted by the university’s admissions and athletic department will take place prior to the game. The fair will include information and displays from the various colleges on the campus.

Students will have a great chance to walk away with more than a just great basketball game as there will be a number of giveaways and promotional activities during the day.
