MARTIN, Tenn. --- Tennessee State saw host Tennessee-Martin shoot 54 percent from the field in the second half to erase a two-point halftime deficit on the way to defeating the Lady Tigers 72-63 in Ohio Valley Conference play Thursday night. The Lady Tigers (5-11, 2-3) held a 26-24 halftime advantage, but UT Martin took control mid-way through the second half and built a 10-point lead at 48-38 near the nine-minute mark. Leslie Dean came off the bench to lead TSU with 17 points. Quanecia Fletcher added 11 and LaKisa Clay 10. TSU shot 36 percent (25-70) from the field. Andreika Jackson led the Skyhawks (5-12, 4-2) with 18 points. TSU plays at Murray State Saturday afternoon.
