NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State University women's basketball team will open the 2003-04 regular season on the road this weekend. The Lady Tigers will take on the Raiders of Wright State on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 5 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio. This is the second matchup between the two programs with the first contest going to the Raiders last year , 84-68, at the Gentry Center. Wright State comes into Saturday's contest with an 0-1 record in its exhibition games, falling, 90-74, to Athletes in Action on Nov. 10. The game against Tennessee State is the Raiders' 2003-04 home opener. Saturday's contest is also a personal one for the Lady Tiger squad as Assistant Coach Tracee Jones returns to her old stomping grounds. Jones served as top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for two years at Wright State before returning to her alma mater. Tennessee State finished its 2002-03 campaign with an overall record of 4-22 and a 2-14 mark in the Ohio Valley Conference.
