As a Sophomore, 2019 Season: Starting Libero for her second season in blue and white… Recorded 490 digs in 29 matches… Accomplished 1,000 career digs in just two collegiate seasons… In TSU volleyball history she is now ranked seventh in single season digs, is ninth in career records for digs… In the Ohio Valley Conference, Rivera-Ortiz finished fourth in Digs Per Set with 4.70.

As a Freshman, 2018 Season: Served as the starting libero for Big Blue, finishing the season ranked fourth in digs per set (4.86), amassing an astounding 541 digs in her first season... Ranks fourth in all-time single season digs for TSU... Named OVC Defensive Player of the Week (10/15)... Recorded a season-high 37 digs in the Tigers' fifth conference win in-a-row... Posted ten 20+ dig matches over the course of the season... Led TSU in digs in every match, sharing the accolade just four times... Ranked second on the team in assists with 92.

At San Benito HS: Member of the 2014 Puerto Rican Junior National Team... Led San Benito to the Puerto Rican Championship, while being named to All-Star team... Played club for Vaqueras de Bayamon, winning both the AAU Power League Super Regional and the Jeep Volleyball Championship, where she was named to the All-Star team... Played at the 44th AAU Girls' Junior National Volleyball Championship... Member of the High School National Honor Society.
