MATCH INFORMATION: TSU will host the Gamecocks on Friday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. in Kean Hall. On Saturday, Oct. 12 the Tigers will host the Golden Eagles at 5 p.m. in Kean Hall. 

TSU UPDATE: The Tigers hosted the SIU-E Cougars last Saturday, Oct. 5 and lost 3-2 (22-25, 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, 15-12). This makes TSU's Ohio Valley Conference record 2-2 going into this weekend's matches.

ABOUT JACKSONVILLE STATE: The Gamecocks are on a two game winning streak coming to Nashville. Sophomore Lena Kindermann and junior Sadie Anderson each rank in the top 10 individually in conference play. Running Jacksonville State's offense is junior setter Lexie Libs whose averaging 11.93 assists per set. Freshman Erin Carmichael runs the team's defense with a team-best of 209 digs. Todd Garvey was named the seventh head coach of the Jacksonville State volleyball program on May 25, 2018.

ABOUT TENNESSEE TECH: Ali Verzani leads the team's offense with 206 kills and Carly Skrabak runs the defense with 256 digs. Ashley Hand assisted the team 574 times so far this season. This is head coach Jeanette Waldo's second season with the Golden Lions.

UP NEXT: Tennessee State will travel to Austin Peay next Friday, Oct. 18 for a match against the Governors at 6 p.m. in the Winfield Dunn Center.
