Volleyball Welcomes Aniya Williams to the 2019 Roster

NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State volleyball has added the final piece to the 2019 roster with the signing of Aniya Wiliams (Cedar Hill, Texas). The junior will join three middle blockers already on the fall roster, including returner Aria Holmes.

Middle Block | 5-11

“Aniya is the ‘IT’ factor of this 2019 recruiting class,” said coach Donika Sutton. “She made the Southland Conference’s All-Tournament team and knows what it takes to win after recording 122 blocks in the Fall of 2018. On the court, she will add versatility to our offense and defense as she is long, lean and quick in execution. Coming in as a junior middle blocker she will lift us in experience, wisdom and leadership. She is a good fit for the future of this program. Welcome to Tiger volleyball, Aniya!”
