Watson Earns First Team ALL-OVC Award

MURRAY, Ky. --- Chloe Watson was recognized by the conference for her performance this season on Wednesday night at the OVC volleyball banquet. Watson was the lone Tiger to make an all-conference team.

In her senior year Watson made the All-OVC first team for the second consecutive season. She led the Tigers to a 17-15 record and an 8-8 conference record. The Tigers earned the 6th seed for the tournament.

On the season Watson leads the team in three different categories. Watson paces the team with 382 kills, 28 service aces and 446 points. She is second on the team in digs with 306 digs and third on the team with 62 total blocks. In conference matches Watson averages 3.27 kills a set which is 7th best in the conference.

Watson and the rest of the TSU volleyball team will take the court against Austin Peay State tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the first round of the OVC Championship Tournament. Live coverage on the game will be available via the OVC Digital Network.
