The team, which has been practicing since last Monday, has continued with two-a-day practices, weight lifting sessions and other team activities. They have been working hard in preparation for their upcoming season.
"This preseason has probably been the best one that we've had so far," commented head coach Kathy Roulhac. "I'm really proud of what we've accomplished since the first day of preseason. We feel like we're really solid and our foundation is pretty good."
The Tigers will conclude preseason camp this weekend with a contest against former TSU players in an alumni match on Saturday in Kean Hall at noon.
"We're just excited about everything we're doing right now and we're just hoping that all of this hard work pays off."
TSU will officially kick-off the 2010 season with a match-up against Western Kentucky on Tuesday, August 31 in Kean Hall at 7 p.m.
