The Tennessee State Lady Tigers (6-18, 0-10 OVC)almost picked up their first Ohio Valley Conference win of the season but were edged, 3-2, by Eastern Kentucky (6-9, 7-3 OVC) on Friday night. The match was only the third time this season the Lady Tigers had played to five games. Eastern Kentucky dominated game one, jumping off to an 11-1 lead en route to winning, 30-15. Despite hitting .310 in the final game of the match, Tennessee State narrowly fell to the Colonels, 15-10.
