The Lady Tiger Volleyball team (3-7, 0-0 OVC) dropped the final two games of the Privateer/ Wyndham-Metairie Classic, hosted by the University of New Orleans, on Saturday. TSU fell in the opener to Lamar, 3-0, and in the nightcap to Prairie View A&M, 3-1. Against Lamar, the Lady Tigers had a difficult time battling the aggressive serving and defense of the Cardinals. In match two against Prairie View A&M, Tennessee State again faced strong serving, but this time around it was complimented by the Panthers' lack of errors. After falling in the first two games, the Lady Tigers ame alive and took game three, hitting .302 and 19 kills to Prairie View A&M's mere three. Armwood recorded a double-double (16 kills, 17 digs) and freshman LaQuata Marsh (Chattanooga, Tenn.) picked up her first career double-double (11 kills, 10 digs).
