NASHVILLE, Tenn. --- The Lady Tigers continued Ohio Valley Conference play Friday night as they played host to the Otahkians of Southeast Missouri. Tennessee State (13-18, 0-13 OVC) kept the Otahkians (16-11, 11-3 OVC) in check throughout the evening despite losing the three-game match 22-30, 24-30 and 19-30. Junior outside hitter Jennifer Corral led the Tiger offensive attack with 12 kills and a .379 hitting percentage. Southeast's Sarah Frost helped the Otahkians complete the season sweep of TSU with a match high 16 kills along with eight digs. Tennessee State looks to rebound next week as they welcome the league's top club in the Skyhawks of Tennessee-Martin. Tuesday night's match is the last home game of the 2002 campaign for the Lady Tigers. Seniors Catrina Hewlett, Shartondra Jackson, and Taylor Oliver will be honored before the match as they play their final collegiate volleyball contest inside Kean Hall. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
