LADY TIGERS UNABLE TO SUSTAIN MOMENTUMAS MURRAY STATE BOUNCES BACK FOR WIN

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State volleyball team got off to a good start with a victory in game one, but Murray State, who has had some key recent additions, came back to win three consecutive games. The Lady Tigers won the first game 30-27, only to see the Racers come back two sweep the next three games 17-30, 23-30, and 25-30. Janique Suber had 14 kills and a hitting percentage of .278 and had 10 digs for a double-double. Jennfifer Corral also had a double-double with 13 kills and 18 digs. Murray State had a hitting percentage of .255. Abbi Gui had 19 kills for MSU. TSU will continue its homestand Thursday night against Eastern Illinois and on Friday against Southeast Missouri.
