NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State volleyball team continued to improve on its record for victories in a season by taking a three-game sweep over visiting Morris Brown Tuesday night at Kean Hall. The Lady Tigers evened their record at 13-13 overall with their 30-22, 30-23, and 30-19 win over the visiting Wolverines in the TSU's final non-conference match of the season. The Lady Tigers had a hitting percentage of .315. Jennifer Corral had 14 kills and Katherine Armwood added 10 for TSU. Corral and King each had eight digs to lead the Lady Tigers. Morris Brown (12-23) was led by Candace Suggs' 12 kills. TSU will be in action this weekend with matches at Southeast Missouri and Eastern Illinois in Ohio Valley Conference play.
