MARTIN, Tenn. --- The Lady Tigers volleyball team concluded a two-game Ohio Valley Conference road-swing against the league's top team Friday night. Tennessee-Martin claimed a three-game match to remain undefeated in conference play. After a slow start in game one (14-30), Tennessee State kept things close throughout game two but the Skyhawks rallied late to a 30-22 decision. Game three again found the Lady Tigers fighting hard as TSU worked to a 14-14 tie before UTM slipped away with the victory (30-18). Tennessee State will look to rebound against Belmont in non-conference play Tuesday at 7 p.m. before returning home on Saturday to host Alabama State. The Lady Tigers drop to 9-11 overall and 0-6 in OVC action while Tennessee-Martin improves to 13-4 overall and 8-0 in conference play.
