NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State Lady Tiger volleyball, winners of nine of their last 10 matches, will look to keep the momentum going into a three-match Ohio Valley Conference homestand this week. The Lady Tigers, now sporting a 9-6 overall record, will host Austin Peay, Tuesday at 7 p.m. to begin the week’s play. TSU will host Eastern Kentucky, Friday at 7 p.m. before playing Morehead State Saturday at 11 a.m. All matches will be played in Kean Hall. TSU begins the homestand coming off four victories in last week’s matches. The Lady Tigers won the first-ever volleyball match played in Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. TSU defeated the Lady Bisons 3-1, winning 30-19, 20-23, 30-27, and 30-25. The Lady Tigers then traveled to Atlanta for the weekend. In a tri-match at Morris Brown, the Lady Tigers defeated Morris Brown 30-17, 30-24, and 30-23. TSU then followed with a 3-0 sweep of Savannah State, 30-5, 30-20, and 30-16. On Saturday, TSU wrapped up the weekend with a 3-0 sweep of Division II member Clark-Atlanta in match played at Mays High School. ###
