Tigers (4-8)
2019: 13-29

Tennessee State finished 2-1 during the Tiger Classic, picking up wins over Central Connecticut and Rider. Sarah Snell and Bri Vire led the way as both found a spot to the all-tournament team. Vire led the Big Blue with three hits and three runs batted in, while Snell reached base five times and the squad with three runs scored. The staff teamed to pick up the two wins. Lauren Powell picked up the win against CCSU, while Abbey Woodall was credited with the win in the final game of the tournament. Raven Loveless came in to close out both games, picking up two saves.

Reese Weber reached base in all three contests over the weekend, increasing her streak to 11 games. Over the last two games, four Tigers continued to climb in the record books. Snell moved into seventh on the career runs list and is two behind Tedra Alford's (2010-13) 61. Powell moved into a tie for seventh in wins and is one behind Loveless, who claimed a spot in the TSU record books as well. The sophomore hurler is now tied for fourth in career saves with Tarah Evanisko (2002-05), Justine Jontz (2003-04), Megan Headrick (2009-10) and Jasmine Matchen (2015). Katie Schneider tallied 11 putouts in the final game of the week, which moved her into second all time at TSU ahead of Andreka Crawley (1997-99) and is now 56 behind Jalisa Bradley (2008-11) with 714. Schneider continues to hold the NCAA D-I mark for most putouts in a contest this season with 22 putouts during the 10 inning victory over Tulsa.
