TSU will take to the road for its final regular season trip for 2019. The Tigers are still in the race for the Ohio Valley Conference tournament and will be playing double header's at SIUE and Eastern Illinois fighting for a spot in post season play for the first time since 2001.

Patton Akers was the lone Tiger to register a hit in both contests at No. 9 Tennessee on Wednesday. Akers is a career 4-for-11 with a double, a walk and a .364 average against the Lady Vols. The junior has played nine games against Power-5 programs, including five against UT, three versus Iowa State and one against Auburn. In those games, Akers is a combined 9-for-22 with two doubles, a home run, two RBI and two walks for a .409 batting average.

The Panthers has used six pitchers on the season, with the majority of time in the circle going to McKenna Coffman and Jade Montgomery.
