TSU will host Appalachian State for a single game at 2:00 p.m. at Tiger Field. The two teams were original scheduled for a double header, but agreed to play just one due to low temperatures.
The Tigers are coming off a 1-2 performance at the Tiger Classic. The Big Blue closed out the weekend with a comeback win over ETSU. Reese Weber and Katie Schneider were both named to the All-Classic Team. Schneider collected an extra base hit in all three games, including a home run against Marist, while hitting doubles against Portland State and ETSU. In the circle, the sophomore tossed five innings, allowing two runs, one earned in the Tigers win over the Bucs. Weber earned hits in all three games, extending her hit streak to four games. The junior collected two hits with a double in game one and followed with another two hit performance in the night cap.
