Tennessee State steps out of conference play for the final time this season, as they host Middle Tennessee for a single game at 6:00 p.m. at Tiger Field. TSU has dropped 25 straight games after dropping three games last week. Lauren Powell earned her 81st strikeout of the season versus Murray State, bringing her career total to 200. With that milestone, Powell becomes just the fifth pitcher in TSU history to reach 200. Sarah Snell was issued her 25th walk of the season in game one against the Racers. With the base on balls, Snell ties Jordan Rehl (2012) for third on the TSU Single Season Top 10 List.

Sarah Snell continues to lead the offense with 32 hits, 15 runs, a .278 batting average, 25 walks, 15 stolen bases and a .410 on base percentage. Freshman Katie Schneider follows with 28 hits while batting .255. Schneider tops the team with nine doubles. In the circle, Lauren Powell has worked in 28 games, starting 21, and has compiled a 2-21 mark with a 4.83 ERA. Powell has fanned 81 batters in 133.1 innings and has dropped her batting average against to .291. Tori Hart has tossed 82.1 innings in 21 appearances and 13 starts. Hart (0-11) is still looking for her first win of the season and has a 5.36 ERA.
