2016 Record: 16-33

Claire Wernig led the Redhawks at the plate with a .320 average while scoring a team best 20 runs. Wernig also collected nine doubles, a home run and 13 stolen bases as she looks to pace an offense that lost over half of last season’s lineup. The Redhawks enter the season with its pitching staff pretty much intact from a year ago. SEMO returns four of its five hurlers which threw 306 of the 313.2 total innings in 2016.
