NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State softball program will host a one day camp, followed by the Tigers in Fall Ball action with Motlow State. The camp is designed for high school aged athletes and is set to begin at 8:00am on Saturday, October 4. The TSU versus Motlow matchup is scheduled for a 1:30pm first pitch.
The camp gives high school level players an opportunity to increase their skills and the chance to learn more about the recruiting process. The camp will feature a practice game between the participants of the game.
Head coach Tom Opdenbrouw will be joined by his staff, Matt Danna and former All-American Katie Burkhart, along with the 2014-15 Tiger Softball team. The cost of the camp is $50 with signup available at check-in and will be held at Tiger Field.
The Tigers will play its lone home game of the fall against Motlow State. The two teams will play a single game and is open to the public.
