Last Time Out

The Tigers' road troubles have continued to haunt them as they recently dropped a three-game series to Morehead State. In game one, the Tigers were not able to get runners on base as they recorded only four hits and scored one run, leading to a, 9-1, loss. The Tigers improved in game two, jumping out to a, 4-0, lead until the third inning. Then costly errors and a missed opportunity to score runners with the bases loaded, led to the Tigers letting the game slip away 12-4 in favor of the Eagles. The Tigers closed the series by dropping an, 11-3, decision to MSU. The Eagles came out to a six run first inning and the Tigers were just not able to rebound from the hot start.

Who's Hot?

Tedra Alford highlighted the series for the Tigers as she led the Tigers throughout, recording five hits, scoring three runs and tallying two RBI. Alford hit two homeruns in game two alone, extending her season total to four. On the season, she is now batting a team leading .336 with 44 hits and 20 runs scored.

The Tigers are batting .240 as a team while the TSU pitching staff has a 6.47 ERA.
