NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Tennessee State will close out the most successful campaign in school history as they host UT Martin in a three-game OVC series. The Tigers are a series win away from heading to the post-season tournament for only the second time in school history. The Saturday double header will start at 6:30 p.m. due to TSU's graduation earlier in the day. The Tigers will honor their seniors on Sunday before the final game of the season. Game time is set for 1 p.m. The Tigers improved to 12-12 in conference play after a three-game sweep of Eastern Kentucky. TSU moved to fifth place in the standings and control their own destiny to reach the OVC tournament. The following scenarios will clinch a spot in the six team playoff: Clinch with two wins over UT Martin Or A win and two Eastern Kentucky wins over Austin Peay Or An Eastern Kentucky sweep Head coach Joyce Maudie is one win away from her 100th at the helm of TSU. Prior to Coach Maudie, the Tigers won a total of 40 games over eight years. In her first four seasons, Maudie guided TSU to 43 wins and has amassed 56 in the past two.
