KISSIMMEE, Fla. --- Tennessee State dropped a pair of softball games in the second day of the Rebel Games being played in Kissimmee, Fla., losing to Monmouth 6-1 and Indiana-Purdue Ft. Wayne 4-3. Nira Robbins hit a solo home run for the lone run in the opener. Brittani Phillips went the distance for TSU on the mound, allowing nine hits. TSU out-hit the IPFW team 10-6 in the nightcap and carried a 3-1 lead into the sixth inning. IPFW pushed across three runs in the sixth inning. TSU committed four errors in the game. Leena Worrell and Kristina Blair each had three hits, including a double for TSU. Blair had a RBI and also scored one of the Tigers' runs. TSU continues play in the Rebel Games on Tuesday against Sacred Heart and Creighton.
