TSU Student-Athletes Help with Freshman Move-In Day

NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State University student-athletes, coaches and administrators joined forces with university personnel and other volunteers to help with Freshman Move-In Day on Wednesday.

As hundreds of newly enrolled students poured onto campus, Tiger staff and student-athletes volunteered at various dorms to assist with the moving efforts and welcome the new additions to the Land of Golden Sunshine.

The football and golf teams arrived to campus at 5:45 a.m. for the first shift.

The Tigers assisted with traffic control, unloading cars, loading carts and carrying items to the dorm rooms at Wilson and Epps Hall.

Volleyball served the incoming students at Rudolph Hall while Track and Field as well as Softball handled the afternoon duties at Wilson Hall.

Coaches and administrators also served as guides, drivers and organizers for the day.
