NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State basketball fans have until October 15 to cash in on an "Early Bird Special" for a season ticket package to men's and women's home games for the 2003-04 season. The "Early Bird Special" is $50 each for fans and $25 each for TSU staff and faculty members. The price will be $75 for fans and $50 for TSU faculty and staff after the October 15 deadline. A season ticket for children ages 12 and under is $35. The season ticket package covers all 28 home games the men's and women's teams will play this season in the Gentry Center. TSU is under the direction of two head new coaches. Coach Cy Alexander comes to TSU from South Carolina State where he built a successful program. The Bulldogs appeared in the NCAA Tournament six times under Alexander. Sharon Allen will lead the Lady Tigers and comes to Nashville from Mississippi State, where she was a big part of the Lady Bulldogs recent success, serving as the recruiting coordinator and assisting with other phases of the program.
