Desmond Tanner ended his impressive four-year run in blue and white with two medals at the OVC Outdoor Championship. A native of nearby Clarksville, Tenn., he earned silver in the 4x100 relay and bronze in the 400m hurdles. The Flying Tiger improved throughout his stay at TSU, clocking personal records in the 400-meter hurdles, 400-meter run, 110m hurdles and 60m hurdles in his final season. Tanner graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Sports Science on May 4. He shared his college experience with tsutigers.com.

A: It was a great experience. I feel that I fit into the TSU culture naturally.
