Nashville, Tenn. - Nearly half of the Tennessee State University men's track and field team improved their times over the weekend at the Tiger Track Classic hosted by Auburn University on Saturday.

The Flying Tigers had five athletes post personal records in seven different events with the men's 4x100 team setting a season best mark of 41.59 seconds (9). The overall effort led TSU to three finishes in the top ten.

Arthur Combest, with a PR of 14.88 in the 100m hurdles, placed seventh in the event, the best finish for TSU in an individual event on the day.  Also, in the high jump, Combest's PR of 6"5.5 leap placed him 13th in the field.
