The Tennessee State women's cross country team earned second-place of four teams over the weekend at the Mocs Invitational hosted by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The Tigerbelles had two top-10 finishes, good for 47 points. Leading the way for the Tigerbelles for the second-consecutive meet was Rae'Ven Richards. She completed the two mile race in 12:23 and finished i fifth overall. She was followed by Juanita Thomas, who took eighth with a time of 12:53. Tennessee State returns to action at the Ohio Valley Conference Cross Country Championships on Nov. 1 at Murray State.
