The Tennessee State University women's cross country team took fifth place with 115 points among all Division I competitors over the weekend at the 31st Annual Georgia State Invitational. The Tigerbelles competed against four Division I schools, host-Georgia State, David Lipscomb, Troy State and Jacksonville and 12 non-Division I schools including Alabama-Huntsville, Emory, Florida Southern, Benedict College, Florida Tech, West Florida, West Georgia, Kennesaw State, Southern Union, Augusta State, Savannah College and USC-Aiken. The top TSU finisher was Juanita Thomas, who was 15th among Division I racers and 46th overall with a time of 20:24. She was followed by Rae'ven Richards, who finished 16th among Division I competitors and 48th overall with a time of 20:25.
