The Tennessee State women's cross country team continued their season on Saturday, competing in the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic. The Tigerbelles finished 13th overall with a total of 346 points. Host-Vanderbilt earned first-place for the second-consecutive year with a total of 27 points. The top TSU finisher in the 5K race was Rae'Ven Richards, who crossed the finish line with a time of 21:49.94, good for 61st. She was followed by Juanita Thomas, who took 64th, with a time of 21:53.38. The Tigerbelles return to action on Sept. 20, when they travel to Athens, Ga. to compete in the Georgia State Invitational.
