The Tennessee State women's cross country team started their 2003 campaign off on a high note over the weekend, finishing second overall at the Austin Peay Invitational. The Lady Tigers finished behind winner Tennessee Tech. The top TSU finisher was Juanita Thomas with a time of 15:30.95 for fourth-place overall at the event. Rounding out the top-10 for Tennessee State were Rae'ven Richards (sixth, 15:37.04), Makeya Miller (ninth, 16:23.37) and Kristen Bennett (10th, 16:25.35). The women's cross country team returns to action on Sept. 13 as it competes in the Vanderbilt Invitational. Event Results
