NASVHILLE --- Tennessee State men's track sprinter Pedro Barnes heads the Ohio Valley Conference ?Best Lists? in a pair of events, thanks to a pair of performances in last week's Boston-Moon Classic held at the Edward S. Temple Track. Barnes ran the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.81 seconds and came back with a time of 21.58 in the 200-meters. Barnes holds a two-tenths of a second lead over Greg Lyons of EIU in the 100-meters and a five-tenths of a second advantage over Eastern Kentucky's Dan Palley. A highlight of the meet for the Tigers was sweeping the top three places in the 400-meter hurdles. Marcus Morris won the event in a time of 56.45 seconds. Quincy Wilkins was second and Baron Jones third in the event. TSU will compete in the Vanderbilt Invitational over the weekend. The Tigers and Tigerbelles will host the OVC Championships in early May. ###
